Monster Cookies

I found these cute M&M's at the store the other day and thought making some kind of cookie out of them would be good. These actually went to work with the husband.  Thought the men would like the football candies.  The football part didn't show up that much.
These were really good cookies.  Nice blend of oats and peanut butter.
Start with 1/3 cup softened butter
Add 2/3 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
Mix well.
Add 2 eggs.  Beat well after each one.
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon corn syrup.  Not sure why this is in the recipe, but I added it.
1 cup peanut butter.  I used creamy but crunchy would be good too.
3 cups quick cooking oatmeal.
Add about 3/4 of the bag of M&M's.  Fold in by hand.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookies onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Place in a preheated 350 oven and bake for about 10 minutes.  Check and add additional time if not brown and set.
Fresh from the oven.  They smell so good too.
