Paula Deen Strawberry Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

Doesn't take many ingredients to make this delectable dessert.  It's a Paula Deen recipe so of course there's butter in it.
Start with a strawberry cake mix.
Add one softened stick of butter and one egg.
Mix it well.  Make sure the butter is broken up well.
Dump in the bottom of a 9x13 pan that you have sprayed well.
Press it out evenly in the bottom.
Then mix 1 8oz block of softened cream cheese.  I use the lite kind.  I also used the same bowl.  No need to dirty up another one.
Add 3 eggs.
Mix that well.  Break up the cream cheese well.
Then add 1 box of powdered sugar which is equal to about 2 cups of powdered sugar.  Beat well after each one.
Everything is nice and mixed.
Add in 3/4 cup chopped strawberries.  They can be fresh or frozen.  You do not want a lot of the juice added with them.  I used frozen because it is a little early for good fresh strawberries.
Mix well.
Pour on top of the cake mix.
Spread it out so that it is covering the crust.  Place in a preheated 350 oven for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set well.  It will still jiggle a little but you want it cooked.
Fresh from the oven.
Let it cool completely and then you can cut and enjoy.
