German Chocolate Pie

This recipe was received to rave reviews.  My family hasn't raved this much over a recipe in a long time.  I think this one will find it's way back on the tables soon.
You will need a deep dish pie crust for this recipe.
You are going to use all 4 oz of the German chocolate bar.
Add 4 Tablespoons of butter into a saucepan with the 4 oz of chocolate.
In another bowl add 1 1/2 cups sugar.
3 Tablespoons corn starch
1/8th teaspoon salt
Stir the chocolate and make sure it is all melted. Remove from heat and let cool a little bit.
Add 1 can evaporated milk to the chocolate mixture.
Mix well.
Add the chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture.
Stir well.  Make sure all the lumps are gone.
Add two eggs.
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix well and pour into an unbaked deep dish pie crust.
In a small bowl mix 1 1/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Stir together well.
Sprinkle on top of the pie.  Place in a preheated 375 oven.  Bake 45-50 minutes.  If the coconut is getting too dark after about 30 minutes, lightly cover with foil.
Mine boiled over a little bit.
This is such a good pie and it is also easy to make.
