Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Bark

Chocolate bark is one of the easiest holiday treats that you can make.  There are all kinds and colors of chocolate candy melts these days.  They have also started coming out with seasonal flavors like this pumpkin spice.  I have one more trick up my sleeve with the pumpkin spice chocolate to share with you on another day.  I think you will enjoy this treat.  It can also be packaged up to hand out as a nice treat. The candy melts can be found in most of the craft stores.  Walmart usually has the white and chocolate ones.  Sometimes Target has the colors for the seasons.  The pumpkin spice I found at Michaels and Joanns. Michaels had some interesting flavors.  They had a key lime I am trying to figure out a use for.  There's peppermint for Christmas too.
You just need a bag of white, milk chocolate and the pumpkin spice candy melts.  I did not use the entire bag for this recipe.  You could and use two cookie sheets.  I just wanted to make a little to try it.  I also had some fall sprinkles.  These were little balls and they were hard so if you can find some other sprinkles they will work nicely too.  Maybe something with little pumpkins.
On a parchment lined cookie sheet scatter some of the white candy melts.
Then add the milk chocolate and pumpkin spice.  You want a marbled look. Place in a preheated 350 oven.  Do not leave the oven.  It will not take very long for them to melt.  You do not want them to burn. It only takes maybe 4 or 5 minutes.
The candy melts will not lose their shape when they melt but they will get that glossy shine.
Using a knife or spatula to spread the chocolate around.  You don't want it to be too thick.
It's spread out nice.  There is still some marbling.  It's kind of hard to see.
Before it starts to harden, scatter the sprinkles around.
You can add as many or as few as you like.  When finished place in the fridge to let it set.
When you take it from the fridge it should be firm.
Then start breaking it apart.  You can make the pieces as big or as little as you like.
Either put it on a pretty plate or bag it up to give away.  It sure does taste like fall.
