Traveling with the Grobmyers and Friends—Christmas at Eddies

Today my quilt group and I traveled to Henagar on a Mystery Trip. They didn’t know where we were going or what we were doing. This is a fun group of ladies that enjoy a little road trip and are always up for a fun day. And a fun day we had. Lots of laughing and enjoying our time together. Now if you haven’t been to Eddies to see their Christmas trees you need to go soon. They advertise that they have 200 decorated Christmas trees, each one decorated differently.  It is an easy trip from Huntsville, just east in Hwy 72. Now for some trees.

Here is our group.

Everywhere you turn is another tree or another corner decorated. You can shop off the tree for ornaments.

If you need a specific kind of ornament you should be able to find one here. They had trees with all kinds of themes.

That concludes our time at Eddies. We saw lots of beautiful trees and got some ideas for our trees at home. Our second stop was right down the street at a little shop called Willow Tree.

She has some interesting items in her store and outside.

And here is our group picture.

It was such a beautiful sunny day in spite of the cold temperatures.

Our last stop on our mystery day was back in Scottsboro for lunch at 50 Taters. We didn’t get a picture but we all had a delicious meal.

We had a fun day together and everyone is wanting to know where we are going next. We hate that a few of our friends were not able to travel with us today but maybe next time everyone can go. Now to think of some place to go next time.

Thank you for coming along with me in this trip.
