You didn’t miss an update from yesterday. We took it easy yesterday and it was a rainy Sunday here. We tried to go see a movie but everyone else had the same idea and it was a small theater with no seats left. So we just hung out and rested our legs after a week in NYC. We have a big end of the week this week so the day off was good.
Today we left Lee, MA and headed to New Bedford, MA. We drove through Providence Rhode Island and by happy accident, we were looking for Chick fil a, we drove right by the state capitol building.
We stopped at a few antique stores and quilt shops.
The first quilt shop we stopped at was Quilts and Cabbages. I liked the name of it , but it was closed. It looked like a good one.
Then we drove to Auburn, MA. It really pains me to spend time here.I stopped first at Appletree Fabrics. It was a nice shop.
The second one was Auburn fabric Outlet. It was not a quilt shop exactly. It was like a close out house for some fabrics. The cotton fabric was $4.99 a yard. They had upholstery fabric too.
Tomorrow we are headed to Martha’s Vineyard . I have always wanted to see the gingerbread houses over there. We have the ferry at 8:30in the morning.
I’ll let you know tomorrow night how the other half lives. It should be a nice day on the island.
