We left Harrisburg this morning and started heading east. We went through the Lancaster area, and you know if I’m in the area I have to stop at a few quilt shops.
First stop was Log Cabin Quilts in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. I have been here a couple of times in the past and it is a nice quilt shop.
We went a little bit down the road to Old Country Store in Intercourse Pennsylvania.it is a neat quilt shop and general store. I have been here several times as well.
They have lots of fabric and notions.
Then for the third and final quilt shop of the day Zook’s just down the street from theOld Country Store. It has changed some since the last time I have been there. They have added an area for classes.
Not the best picture because it was in the window but it was a pretty quilt.
Next stop Hoboken New Jersey. Home of the famous Carlo’s Bakery. It will also be home to us for the next four nights.
We tried our first Shake Shack burger tonight. It’s not In-N-Out burger but it was good.
Our box from Carlo’s any guesses what we got?
They are as good as they look.
They were really happy we didn’t make them stay in the car again.
Also, a shout out to the very helpful staff here at the Holiday Inn in Hoboken.
