Red Velvet Cheesecake Squares

You know there's always a lot of red velvet recipes during the fall.  This week is no exception. This is a nice little cheesecake bar that would be good any time but especially for a football Saturday.
Don't pay attention to the orange plates.  They did not counteract the red.
Here are the ingredients for both the crust and the cheesecake filling.
So let's start with the crust.  1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
1/4 cup melted butter cooled.
Line a 9x9 pan with foil.  Put the crust mixture in the bottom.
Press out into the bottom and corners.
Now for the filing.  1/4 cup sour cream to 8 oz softened cream cheese.
1 egg.  Mix well.
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon red food coloring
Mix well.
Pour on top of the crust.  Place in a preheated 350 oven.  Bake for 25-28 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool. After it has cooled place in the fridge.
When you are ready to eat, peel the foil away and cut.
A little whipped cream on top would be good too.
