Cheeseburger Gnocci Casserole

The other day was a day that Pooh would have called a blustery day.  The wind was about to blow us away and there was a chill in the air.  Those things call for some good old comfort food.  So I finally got to try the cheeseburger gnocci casserole recipe that I have been saving. It was easy to make and so filling.
This is a great one pot meal.
It looks like a lot of ingredients but it really isn't.
Start by melting 1 Tablespoon of butter in a heavy pot.
Add the dry gnocchi.  We are going to just brown it a little.  Gnocchi is little potato dumplings and they can be found in the noodle isle.
Just brown them in the butter.  Once brown take out of the pot.
Now saute the onion and brown the ground beef.  Drain the beef.
Then add 1 cup beef broth
1 can rotel tomatoes
Add the gnocchi back to the pot.
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon cumin
3-4 minced garlic cloves
salt
pepper Mix well and bring to a boil.
1/4 cup heavy cream
Add the cream.
1 cup cheese
Stir well and let the cheese melt.
And because you never can have too much cheese a little more cheese on top.
It is ready to eat.
I think your family will enjoy this meal.
