Harvest Chex Mix

Everybody loves a good snack mix.  This one is perfect for fall especially if you are watching some good football games.
If you have a large bowl like this it makes mixing it so much easier.
I know there's a lot of people that do not like candy corn but you have to have some during the fall,
Melt 2 sticks, 1 cup, butter
Measure out 1 cup brown sugar while butter is melting.
In your big bowl add 1 12 oz box of Rice Chex cereal.
Butter is melted
Add the brown sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla
Mix it well.  The butter will try to separate from the brown sugar.  Keep stirring.
Add 7 oz Bugles
4 cups mini pretzel twists
Toss all that together.
Pour the butter mixture over the cereal.  Toss as you pour.  Make sure it is coated well.
Spread out on two parchment lined cookie sheets.  Place in a preheated 275 oven.  Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.  Now here is where you can learn from my mistakes.  I should have put them in separate ovens instead of on the two racks in one.  Some of the pieces got a little burned on bottom.  Not bad but still you don't want the burned pieces.
About halfway through the cooking process.
After it is cooled put it back in your washed and dried bowl.
Add 1 cup candy corn and 1 cup candy corn pumpkins.  I just got a bag of the mixed autumn that had both.
Add 8 oz of Reese's Pieces.
Toss to mix the candy with the cereal.  And enjoy.
