A couple of weeks ago on the Pioneer Woman's show she made these pizzas. They looked so good and so easy to make I bought the stuff to make them on Saturday for the ball game. Well the other goodies we had that day filled us up so we had to wait until one night this week to make them. They were easy to make and delicious. These little pizzas would be great to have for a party where everyone can fix their own.
The store didn't have any French bread loaves so I bought some sub sandwich bread. The French bread would be wider so if you can find it get it.
Brown and drain the Italian sausage.
Then saute the onions and bell peppers in the sausage grease or add a little olive oil. Cook just until tender.
I cut the bread in half and then the half in half. One side rocked a little so I sliced a ultra thin piece off the bottom so that it would sit flat.
Put as much or as little pizza sauce on the bread.
Add a few slices of fresh mozzarella, or any cheese you like. I added a couple of pieces of foil to keep the bread from rocking or turning over. Don't want all the good stuff to slide off.
Top with pepperoni and Italian sausage
Add the peppers and onions. Top with a little bit of shredded cheese. Then place in a preheated 425 oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is nice and bubbly. You can add the toppings your family enjoys.
Yum!! This looks delicious, I cant wait to try this!!
