Glazed Donut Strawberry Shortcake

I found this recipe and thought it would be fun to try it.  It is an interesting twist to strawberry shortcake.

Start with any kind of donut.  A cake donut would probably work really well too.

Slice the donut in half.

Add some sliced strawberries.  Mine didn't have a lot of extra juice. The juice would be good added too.

Add a little whipped cream.

Top with other half and add a few more strawberries and a dash of whipped cream.
