Soft and Chewy M&Ms Cookies

These cookies are so pretty with the springtime M&M's.  I had someone tell me they tasted like ice cream.  I am not sure if it is the cornstarch that makes the taste a little different or what.
I know it is after Easter and these are Easter M&M's but they are pretty spring colors.
Start with 1 1/2 sticks butter that is softened.  Add 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
Mix well with an electric mixer.  Cream until it is light and fluffy.
Add 2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
2 cups all purpose flour.  Mix well.

1 1/2 cups M&M's Mix well.  Put in the fridge for a couple of hours.  I learned that if I had scooped them first it would have been easier.
Scoop the out.  Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.  Place in a preheated 350 oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Fresh from the oven.  Nothing is better than freshly baked cookies.

3/4 cup butter softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups M&M's.

Preheat oven 350.  Bake 8-10 minutes.
